We encourage you to look at a map and/or online directions from your exact location in order to estimate the amount of time it will take to reach Lake Junaluska from your starting point. However, please note that these directions are tailored to help you reach Junaluksa in the easiest way possible from the highway/interstate and may be different from how MapQuest, etc. may direct you.
Take I-95 S.
Merge onto I-85 S via EXIT 51 toward DURHAM / ATLANTA (Crossing into NORTH CAROLINA).
Keep RIGHT to take I-40 W / I-85 BR S via EXIT 131 toward US-70 / GREENSBORO / WINSTON-SALEM.
Keep RIGHT to take I-40 W via EXIT 36A toward WINSTON-SALEM.
Merge onto US-74 W via EXIT 27 toward MAGGIE VALLEY / FRANKLIN / MURPHY / ATLANTA / CLYDE / WAYNESVILLE. This takes you to US-19/US-23.
Take EXIT 103. (Do not take exit 104 – it is easy to get lost.)
Drive about 1 mile until you see Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center front entrance gates on the RIGHT.
Bear RIGHT through the gates onto N LAKESHORE DRIVE.
At the T-intersection, turn RIGHT onto LAKESHORE DRIVE.

If you continue on LAKESHORE DRIVE, it will lead you to the Terrace Hotel (on the left...#10 on map), Harrell Center (on the right...#7 on map), Memorial Chapel (on the right...#5 on map), and the Lambuth Inn (on the left at the top of the hill...#1 on map) near the cross (#2 on map).
